BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Mar. 24, 2014) - The IWLCA and Lacrosse Magazine released its weekly Top-15 polls Monday, and the LIU Post women's lacrosse team held the No. 1 slot on both ballots. The Pioneers are on a 31-game winning streak dating back to the 2012 season.

Last week, the green and gold grabbed two more wins while outscoring the opposition by a 39-3 count. The Pioneers downed Mercy, 23-1, and took out Queens, 16-2.

Senior attacker Jackie Sileo (Wantagh, N.Y.) amassed 15 points (6 G, 9 A) between both contests. Fellow senior attacker Samantha Losco (Smithtown, N.Y.) netted six goals and dished out six assists for 12 points in the same span.

The Top-5 on both ledgers yielded the same results with LIU Post, Adelphi, Limestone, Le Moyne, and Florida Southern, respectively.

The Lacrosse Magazine census saw Lock Haven drop from fourth to eighth after a two-loss week to No. 3 Limestone and now No. 10 Indiana (Pa.). The Crimson Hawks are the lone new institution to the list.

Sileo, Losco and the Pioneers are back on the field Thursday (Mar. 27), when they travel to Worcester, Mass. to take on Assumption. The opening draw is slated for 4 p.m.
