Baseball to Host Prospect Development Camp

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 5, 2014) - On Friday, LIU Post Head Baseball Coach Mike Gaffney revealed the date of the 2014 LIU Post Baseball Prospect Development Camp, a day dedicated to the development of high school graduates of the classes of 2015 and 2016.

The camp is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 28 and begins with registration at 9 a.m. Players graduating with the classes of 2015 and 2016 will be instructed by members of the LIU Post baseball coaching staff, as well as players. Those attending are asked to fill out a Sickle Cell Waiver, and an Agreement to Participate Waiver, as well as bring a glove, bat, baseball spikes, uniform and hat. A trainer will be on duty throughout the event.

The cost of the camp is $100 (made out to Long Island University) and will be limited to the first 60 registered players.
