Volleyball Falls at Queens, 3-1
Box Score FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 17, 2015) - On Saturday night, the LIU Post volleyball team came out on the short end of a 3-1 loss to Queens College (17-25, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25) in East Coast Conference action at Fitzgerald Gymnasium.
The Pioneers (17-6, 5-3 ECC) struggled for much of the evening, as they hit at a sub-.100 clip in each of the four sets.

Rachel Londot (Utica, Ohio) led the green and gold with a double-double (12 kills, 14 digs). Freshman setter
Giulia Genna (Civitella San Paolo, Italy) allocated 24 assists. Senior libero
Rachel Ringor (Honolulu, Hawaii) collected 13 digs in the loss.
LIU Post picked up its lone victory in the second set, defeating Queens (6-11, 3-5 ECC), 25-23. In a game that featured nine tied scores and four lead changes, the Pioneers capitalized on two unforced errors by the Knights to secure the win. Natalie Miller (Scottsdale, Ariz.) served an ace to aid in tying the match at 1-1.

Shellane Ogoshi and her LIU Post squad are back at it Tuesday (Oct. 20), when they travel to Oakdale for a 7 p.m. first serve at ECC rival Dowling College.
