SOMERS, Wis. (Nov. 3, 2015) - For the second-straight week, LIU Post senior Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) has been named the CollegeSwimming.com Metropolitan Conference Swimmer of the Week, it was announced Tuesday morning.

Kwok swam to three pool records and clocked an NCAA "B" cut last Saturday in a 147-108 win at East Stroudsburg University.

Two of the shattered pool marks came as part of a relay team. The Pioneers' 400-yard freestyle and medley relay squads posted winning times of 3:37.81 and 4:01.82, respectively.

Kwok topped the other record in the 200-yard butterfly. Her first-place time of 2:07.49 beat former LIU Post standout Riley Cassidys 2:09.52 from 2010.

Lastly, Kwok recorded a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Championships in the 100-yard butterfly. She clocked a 56.89, which was also good for a first-place finish.

Kwok and the Pioneers return to action Saturday (Nov. 7), when they square off against University of Bridgeport at 1 p.m. in Bridgeport, Conn.
