KUTZTOWN, Pa. (Apr. 13, 2015) - Junior
Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) continued a stellar spring campaign for the LIU Post women's golf team, finishing in a tie for third place at the Kutztown Spring Invitational, held at the Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown
Pohalski carded an 83 for her round, which ties the mark for lowest 18-hole score in the history of the first-year women's golf program. She shot an 83 during the fall season at the Martin/Wallace Invitational held in Cortland, N.Y. back on Sept. 28, 2014. The junior showed accurate precision by hitting 11 of 18 greens and recording eight total pars and a birdie on her scorecard. Additionally, senior
Nokkie Koonvisal (Bangkok, Thailand) shot a 102 to earn a tie for 33rd place in the tournament.
Millersville freshman Jennifer Gentry (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) shot an 81 to win the one-day invitational by one stroke over Kutztown senior Lauren Smith (Akron, Pa.). Pohalski's school-record 83 left her in a tie with Seton Hill freshman Courtney Newport (Victor, Ca.) for third place on the leaderboard.
