GRAND LAKE, Colo. (Aug. 17, 2015) - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its 2015 Division II Academic Honor Squads Sunday, and LIU Post was one of four institutions from the East Coast Conference to earn the recognition.
The Pioneers were one of 48 teams from Division II to be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. It is also the third-straight year that Head Coach
Meghan McNamara's program garnered the distinction.
In order to be eligible as an Academic Honor Squad, a team must have compiled a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the specified academic year.
In 2014-15, the LIU Post women's lacrosse team recorded a 3.13 GPA. A total of 262 schools, spanning Division I, II and III, were recognized.
