SOMERS, Wis. (Nov. 1, 2016) - On Tuesday, LIU Post sophomore swimmer Karis Fuller (London, England) was selected as the CollegeSwimming.com Metropolitan Conference Swimmer of the Week.

Fuller won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle last Saturday (Oct. 30) in a 137-114 win against East Stroudsburg. She touched the pad at respective NCAA "B" cuts of 5:06.53 and 17:24.15.

Through her first two meets of 2016-17, Fuller has placed first in three of four long-distance events.

Fuller and the Pioneers return to action Saturday (Nov. 5), when they square off with University of Bridgeport at 1 p.m. at the Pratt Natatorium in Brookville, N.Y.
