CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 18, 2016)
- On Friday, the LIU Post volleyball team was rewarded with three selections to the All-East Coast Conference roster, as announced by the league office.

Senior middle hitter Taryn McCullouch (Buena Park, Calif.), junior outside/right-side hitter Danielle Valenza (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and sophomore outside hitter Rachel Londot (Utica, Ohio) were all named to the All-ECC Second Team.

McCullouch has been a defensive force at the net for the Pioneers in 2016, rejecting a team-high 114 blocks. Her average of 1.15 blocks per set currently ranks second-highest amongst the league's leaders.

She has slammed down the third-most kills (237) on the team and recorded a .247 hitting percentage in the process, as well.

Valenza leads the green and gold and places fourth in the ECC in kills with 334. She earned her 1,000th career kill in a 3-0 sweep of Queens on Nov. 5.

Additionally, Valenza, who has posted 10 double-doubles on the year, has accumulated 244 digs and a career-high 68 blocks thus far in 2016.

Londot has continued to excel from behind the service line for LIU Post, totaling 37 aces this season. She has also collected a team-best 318 digs, while notching 261 kills on a .188 attack clip.

Londot was tabbed as the ECC Player of the Week on Oct. 24, after registering 42 kills on a stellar .398 hitting percentage in a 2-1 week for the Pioneers.

McCullouch, Valenza, Londot and the Pioneers are back in action tonight, when they face Daemen College in the semifinals of the 2016 ECC Championship at Lumsden Gymnasium in Amherst. First serve is slated for 5 p.m.
