NEW YORK, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2016) - The LIU Post women's swimming team competed Saturday at the New York University Invitational at the Palladium Athletic Facility.

Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) highlighted the day for the Pioneers, as she recorded an NCAA "B" cut in the 100-yard butterfly. Kwok swam a 56.97 in the event, which was good for a first-place finish.

Meghan Brazier (West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) and freshman
Caitlin Johnstone (Ashburton, New Zealand) won the 100-yard backstroke and breaststroke, respectively. Brazier clocked a 59.50, while Johnstone finished at 1:07.57.

Seren Jones (Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom) individually placed second (59.70) and third (1:01.01) in the 100-back and 100-fly. Freshman
Karis Fuller (London, England) touched the pad at a second-place 4:39.78 in the 400-yard individual medley.
