INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 10, 2016)
- Senior Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) placed second in the 100-yard butterfly and helped the Pioneers to a pair of third-place finishes in relays on Thursday, as the LIU Post women's swimming team continued competition at the 2016 NCAA Division II Championships at IUPUI Natatorium.

Kwok touched the pad at 52.91 in the 100-fly, coming in just .38 seconds shy of winning the title. Sophomore Laura Bendfeldt (Grosshansdorf, Germany) added a time of 57.77 in the same event.

Kwok also swam the third leg of the Pioneers' 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relays, both of which raced to third-place showings.

In the 200-free relay, she teamed up with Bendfeldt and seniors Seren Jones (Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom) and Meghan Brazier (West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) to clock a 1:32.07.

Then, in the 400-medley relay, Kwok, Brazier, Jones and freshman Caitlin Johnstone (Ashburton, New Zealand) finished at 3:42.27.

Head Coach Michael Travers and the Pioneers return to the pool Friday (Mar. 11), when they swim at Day Three of the 2016 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis.
