GRAND LAKE, Colo. (Mar. 14, 2016) - The LIU Post women's lacrosse team has climbed one spot to No. 4 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Top-20 Poll, announced Monday afternoon.
The Pioneers, who also skyrocketed to fifth in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine tally, won both of their games last week to improve to 3-1. The green and gold routed Assumption College, 15-2, on Wednesday, before knocking off then-No. 4 University of New Haven, 7-5.
Senior attacker
Emily Delaney (Long Valley, N.J.) had seven assists, as part of a team-high nine-point week. Junior attacker
Stefani Vagelatos (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) tallied four goals and three assists for seven points. Freshman midfielder
Ryan McKinney (Downingtown, Pa.) scored a Pioneer-best five goals, including three against New Haven.
Between the pipes, sophomore goaltender
Olivia Kirk (Farmingdale, N.Y.) made a combined 14 saves in the two contests, while boasting a 3.05 goals-against average and a .700 save percentage.

Meghan McNamara and her LIU Post squad are back in action Wednesday (Mar. 16), when they face Philadelphia University at 4 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa.
