BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jul. 14, 2016) - Over the summer, the LIU Post cheerleading team will be hosting a pair of youth clinics at the Pratt Recreation Center.
The camps are scheduled for Sunday, Jul. 31 and Sunday, Aug. 21. They will both run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are open to cheerleaders of any experience between the ages of 5-14. A lunch will be provided for all attendees.
The clinics will teach basic technique in motions, jumps, low-level tumbling, low-level stunting and game-day cheerleading. Participants should bring water and athletic shoes to the camp.
In addition, a performance will be held for all friends and family at the conclusion of each clinic at 4 p.m.
The cost of the camp is $50, if payment is received before the day of the clinic, and $60 at the door. There will be a maximum of 50 spots available.
