Brookville, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's soccer team advances to the ECC Championship final with a 3-0 victory over the NYIT Bears at Pioneer Soccer Park on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
With the win the Pioneers, now 15-0-2 on the year, advance to the final round of the ECC Championships where they'll meet the championships third seed, UDC.
 
LIU Post opened the scoring in the third minute when senior Martin Lozano headed a ball out of midair off a Harry Pearse corner for his fourth goal of the season.
 
The hosts double their lead 15 minutes after the break when senior Lukas Ostermann headed in team-leading 15th goal to increase his scoring streak to four games.
 
Morten Wenaas goal in the 85th minute wrapped up the match's scoring and brought the Molde, Norway native's goal total to three.
 
Oliver Hessner Hansen made a save in a match that saw his side outshoot its opponent 10-6.
