Kansas City, MO| Four members of the LIU Post men's soccer team appeared on the United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region Teams, where were revealed on Wednesday morning.
LIU Post placed three members in the All-East Region First-Team, the most in the ECC, which featured seniors Johan Mauritzson,
Harry Pearse, and Charlie Ledula. Additionally, Maurtizon and Ledula receive All-America First-Team honors, while Pearse was name to the All-America Second-Team.
Maurtizson, the ECC Defensive Player of the Year, receives All-America First-Team nods for his efforts on defense. The center back captained a back-line that ranks second in the ECC with 15 goals allowed and 0.86 goals against average. Mauritzson's performance also helped LIU Post shut out seven opponents on the season, two of which came in back-to-back victories in the East Coast Conference Championship.
A member of the 2017 D2CCA All-East Region Second-Team, Pearse earns his first All-America honors following his final collegiate season. Playing mostly as a holding midfielder, Pearse, the workhorse of the team, is currently first on the team in assists (11), third on the team in goals (5) and points (21).
Ledula, a NSCAA All-America Second Team member last year, claims First-Team nods after scoring 13 of LIU Post's 53 goals of the season. The ECC First-Team All-Conference member is fourth in the conference in goals and points (27).

Oliver Hessner Hansen, who is his first season with the Pioneers, the 2017 ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, Hessner Hansen has compiled a 14-0-2 record in net, so far. The junior transfer made 74 saves on the year, good for an ECC-leading .831 save percentage. His save percentage was also ranked No. 9 in all of Division II. Also, Hessner Hansen is first in the ECC with 0.86 goals against average.
