Equestrian Receives High Point at NYU, on Sunday

Selden, NY | The LIU Post equestrian team wins high point team at the NYU hosted show today. Jessica Sulkers also topped the show winning high point rider of the day winning both her open classes. 

Mallory Slack and Ava Greenbaum placed second and third, respectively, over fences in the open division to start the day. Slack also placed third in open flat, with Greenbaum placing second in intermediate flat. Nicole Palmer and Jenna Skaferowsky topped the intermediate flat class. Katie Galvin placed second on the flat, with Trina Aspenleiter placing in third. In intermediate over fences, Mackenzie Ashe and Alex Daskam placed second 

In novice fences, Nicolette Signorelli topped the class with Ashton Guilfoile and Hedda Walltott placing Third in their sections and Angela Sikes and Gianna Perry placing third. On the flat, Walltott topped the class with Guilfoile in second and Alyssa Rehm in third. Danielle Testagrose placed second in her walk/trot/canter class, and Qing Wang and Kaitlyn Seidl finished the day placing third in their walk/trot class. 

The Pioneers close up their fall season next weekend with their home show at the stables on campus.
