Pearse Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Nod

Brookville, NY| Senior midfielder Harry Pearse of the LIU Post men's soccer team was named to the Academic All-District First-Team on Thursday, November 9 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Pearse represents one of the three ECC student-athletes named to the all-district team from district one, which encompasses the Central Atlantic, East Coast and Northeast 10 conferences.

A psychology major from Berkshire, London, England, Pearse currently leads the team with 11 assists and has amassed a third-best 21 points on the year.

Pearse is a ECC distinguished scholar, being named to 2016 Cosida All-District Team and selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third-Team a season ago.

The top-seeded LIU Post enters the 2017 NCAA Men's Soccer Super Region Second Round with a 16-0-2 record, and they will take on the UDC Firebirds on Saturday November 11 at 1 P.M.  For more information about the 2017 NCAA Men's Soccer Super Region click here.
