LORETTO, Pa. – The LIU Post bowling team sit in 13th place after the opening day of the Red Flash Invitational hosted by St. Francis University (Pa.).
 
The Pioneers compiled a score of 4,022 through five baker matches, averaging 804 per match. After starting with a game of 769, the Green and Gold bounced back with a score of 840 in the second match of the day. The Pioneers ended the day strong with their two best games of the afternoon, recording scores of 842 and 847 in matches four and five.
 
The team will look to pick up ground tomorrow in the traditional format, with five more matches on the docket for Saturday.
