NEWARK, Del. – Two late goals by the Wilmington University Wildcats proved to be the difference Wednesday as the LIU Post men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 defeat on the road in non-conference action.
The Wildcats held the upper hand during Wednesday's match, outshooting the Pioneers 12-7, despite LIU Post earning a 6-1 edge in corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper
Matias Pesallaccia made four saves in his LIU Post debut between the pipes.
Graduate student
Lukas Ostermann tallied his league-leading 14th goal of the season for the match's opening strike during the 48th minute of play. Sophomore
