BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post women's tennis team could not overcome regional powerhouse Concordia University at its home courts on Thursday, Oct. 4.
 
The Pioneers dropped Nos. 2 and 3 doubles in straight sets as the Clippers took the opening point of the match. Concordia went on to sweep the singles competition as well, with senior Shanice Arthur (6-3, 6-1) taking four games from Angelica Karlsson and sophomore Veronika Koudelkova (6-2, 6-2) earning four game victories against Josefina Torres.
 
The Green and Gold are back on the home courts on Tuesday, Oct. 9 when they host Daemen College in the team's return to East Coast Conference action at 2:00 p.m.
