ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's & women's cross country teams competed at the East Coast Conference Championships at the Matt St. James Cross Country Trails Saturday. The Pioneer women finished third of nine teams and the Pioneer men finished sixth of eight.
 
LIU Post's women had 104 points and trailed Saint Thomas Aquinas College who had 66 and Roberts Wesleyan College who had 15. Freshman Margaret McKeever was named All-ECC Second Team after clocking in at 20:06.8 seconds to finish 12th in the 5K.
 
The Pioneers also had three other runners finish inside the top 25; junior Alexandria Okon finished 23^rd in 21:01.1 seconds, senior Kaitie Schillaci finished 24^th in 21:03.9 seconds and junior Nicolette Agostinacchio finished 25^th in 21:05.9 seconds. Senior Kathryn Elnick finished 27^th in 21:20.1 seconds and freshman Anita Mikowski finished 28^th in 21.26.8 seconds.
 
The Pioneer men had 176 points on the day to finish sixth. Top performers included junior Jeffrey Reyes who finished 22^nd in 27:51.8 seconds, sophomore Andrew Gleave who finished 47^th in 30:07.9 seconds, Joe Dorso who finished 54^th in 31.57.2 seconds and senior Lance Edwards who finished 55^th in 32.37.1 seconds.
