Karis Fuller garnered two All-American accolades and senior
Laura Bendfeldt closed out her collegiate career with All-American accolades as well at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships March 14-17.
Fuller captured All-American honors in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday, finishing eighth in a time of 55.34 seconds, the fourth-fastest time in program history. Bendfeldt added a 13th-place finish in the same event, garnering honorable mention All-American honors.
The London native closed out the championships with a 10th-place finish in Saturday's 200-yard backstroke finals, notching the second-fastest time in program history and a personal-best time of 1:59.32. The time marked the second time in her career breaking the two-minute barrier, finishing at 1:59.79 at the Metropolitan Championships in February.
Bendfeldt also qualified and competed in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyles, while Fuller also competed in the 200-yard individual medley, but were unable to qualify for the championship races.
