BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following a narrow victory against No. 6/7 University of New Haven at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., the LIU Post women's lacrosse team improved to No. 7/11 in the national polls this week.
The Pioneers moved up one spot in each national poll as they improved to 4-2 on the season, bouncing back from two losses to nationally ranked Pace University and Le Moyne College. Sophomores

Brianna Feldman had outstanding days on the offensive end, notching new career-highs in goals with six and five tallies, respectively. The team now ranks No. 7 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll and No. 11 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
LIU Post was scheduled to continue East Coast Conference play on Wednesday, March 21 against Molloy College, but the contest was postponed until Thursday, March 22 at 4:00 p.m. due to yet another Nor'easter scheduled to strike the New York metropolitan area tomorrow. The matchup with Molloy begins a five-game home stand over the next three weeks for the Green and Gold.
