BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – It was a quiet week with just one contest on the docket for LIU Post women's lacrosse, but a win against Stonehill College helped the Pioneers move up one spot to No. 6 and 8 in the national polls this week.
The Pioneers enter the week ranked No. 6 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, and No. 8 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
Sophomore
Alyssa Mallery had an outstanding day against the Skyhawks, scoring a career-high seven goals to help pace LIU Post to a 16-6 victory at home on March 31.
The Green and Gold will look to keep rolling on Wednesday, April 4 when its hosts the University of Bridgeport in East Coast Conference action at 4:00 p.m. in game two of a men's and women's doubleheader at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
