An Ortiz-Traylor fast break layup with 16:10 remaining in the half extended the Pioneers' lead to 8-2 and his jumper at 13:13 gave LIU Post its final lead of the game, 10-8.
From that point the Spartans pulled away from the Pioneers and took a 42-23 lead into halftime. The Pioneers were unable to make a dent in the Spartans' lead in the second half as STAC ran away with the game, winning with a final score of 90-55.
