COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The LIU Post women's swimming team was selected as a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2018 semester, as announced by the organization Tuesday.

To earn the honor, teams were required to post a 3.0 GPA or higher for the fall semester and the Pioneers earned a 3.69.
 
"I'm incredibly happy to see the team honored for their efforts in the classroom," said head coach Kristen Foley. "They've worked extremely hard and I'm very proud of them."

Of all NCAA Divison II women's swimming programs, only Biola University (3.72) and Emmanuel College (3.71) earned higher GPAs than the Pioneers.
 
Women's swimming resumes competition on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1:00 p.m. in a tri-meet at Millersville University with Kutztown University inside Pucillo Natatorium.
