Karis Fuller of the LIU Post women's swimming team had a night to remember at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships Friday, setting a new program record and garnering honorable mention All-America honors in the 100 backstroke inside the IU Natatorium.
Fuller's time of 54.44 set a new LIU Post record and saw her finish ninth overall in the 100 backstroke. The previous record was 54.70, set by Seren Jones at the NCAA Championships in 2016.
In the prelim Fuller posted a the 13th-fastest time, 55.17, which saw her advance to the B final.
