2007-08: ECC All-Conference Second Team … All-Met second team … one time East Coast Conference Player of the Week, after registering a team high 30 points at Bloomfield (Dec. 15) ... took the court 28 times for the Pioneers, making 27 starts ... held season record with 15 field goals at Bloomfield (Dec. 15) ... led the team in double-doubles, tallying nine for the season, including a 18 rebound 16 point game at Mercy (Jan. 19) ... registered a game-high .833 field goal percentage and 1.000 free throw percentage making all six of her attempts against Queens (March 5) ... maintained a field goal percentage of .538 and a free throw percentage of .697 for the season ... averaged 8.4 rebounds per game with a total of 234 for the season.
2006-07: All-East Coast Conference Third Team selection … played in all 30 games, starting in 29 for the Pioneers … was second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game … led the team in rebounding with eight boards a game, and blocked shots with 43 on the year … picked up five double-doubles on the season … scored a career-high 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting at Mercy College (Feb. 13) … averaged 13.3 points with 12.7 rebounds in the three games of the ECC tournament.
2005-06: Played in all 30 games … Ranked second on the team in rebounds (157- 5.2 average) and blocks (52- 0.8 per game) … Third on the team in free throw percentage (.676- 73-of-108) … Averaged 6.3 points per game … Scored a career-high 14 points in the NYCAC Championship against the University of New Haven (Mar. 5) … Tied for the team-high at Bridgeport (Feb. 1), collecting 12 points on 5-for-11 shooting.
Prior to C.W. Post/Personal: Was the Colonial District Player of the Year for coach Louise Folley’s Mills E. Godwin High School team (Richmond, Va.) … was a member of the honor roll and an all-academic selection in basketball and track … placed third in Virginia in the high jump (sophomore) and discus (senior) … spent one year at Northport High School in Suffolk County, where she garnered all-League II recognition.
Personal: Is the third of Steve and Ellen Murrer’s four children … older two brothers also played basketball; Steven played basketball for Division-III Christopher Newport (Va.), while Matt currently plays at Division-I Virginia Military Institute (VMI) … major is managment and marketing.
