2007-08: Started 30 games for the Pioneer, and was third on the team in scoring with 9.7 points per game…also averaged 4.0 assist and 1.9 steals per game…shot .459 from the floor and .320 from three-point range…grabbed 113 rebounds, one of four Pioneer to have over 100 rebounds…dished out 117 assists, good for second on the team…led the team in steals with 58... scored in double figures 17 times on the season including a season-high 17 point effort against Post (Nov. 20)…grabbed a season-high five steals against regionally-ranked St. Rose (Dec. 30).
Prior to C.W. Post: Transfer from St. Peter’s College, where he was named to the 2006-2007 All-Rookie Team. Played four years of high school varsity for St. John the Baptists under coach John Walsh…1,000 point scorer and all-conference player for the Cougars…league-leading scorer in his senior season.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Denise Spann…has two brothers, Dominique and Trey…majoring in business management.
