Post: Transfer from SUNY Stony Brook, where he played in 25 games for the Seawolves, averaging 6.2 points per game…also played two years at Suffolk Community College, where he averaged 17.8 points, 6.7 assists, and 3.0 steals a game and was named a First Team Junior College All-American, Region XV Player of the Year, and New York State Junior College Player of the Year…Prior to his collegiate career, he competed for Walt Whitman high school under  Tom Fitzpatrick . . . named all-county, all-state and all-Long Island as a senior and a two-time second team all-conference selection and a two-time first team all-conference pick…also lettered in track four years.

Personal: Son of Alicia and Reggie Carter….Reggie played basketball for St. John’s and was drafted in the second round of the 1979 NBA Draft for the New York Knicks, where he played for two seasons…has two brothers, Reggie and Nigel… majoring in sociology.
