      Career Statistics (through 2008 season) 
2008: Made a career-high 45 appearances and started five games … pinch ran 20 times and came around to score six runs … recorded three hits, including two doubles in 16 at bats and drove in two runs while coming around to score nine times … went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in the nightcap against Concordia (Apr. 2) … provided added defense in the outfield, making seven putouts.   2007: Appeared in 35 games, making 19 starts, mostly in the flex position as an outfielder … notched seven putouts and made just one error … picked up two hits in 10 at bats, both of which were doubles … was successful on her only steal attempt of the season … scored nine runs … started in left field the last five games of the season, including the NCAA Regional Championship and the NCAA Division II World Series.     2006: Started in 30 of her 42 appearances, predominantly as a “flex” player in right field … batted .250 on the year (8-for-32) with a double, four RBI and 11 runs … collected first college hit at the Rebel Spring Games against regional foe Stonehill (Mar. 6) … batted 2-for-3 with a run in the second game against AIC (Mar. 26) … went 1-for-3 with a bases-clearing double against Bridgeport (Apr. 29).
 Prior to C.W. Post: Played four years of softball for Jen Nardone's Sachem East squad ... two-time team captain received all-county recognition in 2003 and '05 ... served as team captain for Long Island Riptide summer league squad ... played three years of volleyball at Sachem East, earning all-league kudos in 2004 ... parents are Mike and Debbie Marchese.
