Prior to C.W. Post: Was a three-year varsity starter for head coach Diane Whalers at Freeport High … was twice named Most Valuable Player and received all-county honorable mention … also participated in winter track and tennis.
Personal: Is the daughter of Dora Alicia Hernandez … also has a sister, Rossana, and brother, Carlos.
