Prior to C.W. Post: Was a four-year starter for Mounds View where he led his team to three conference championships (2005-06, 2008) … received all-conference honorable mention twice and was a two-time first team all-conference pick … was named co-captain his senior year … member of Minnesota select lacrosse teams … played for u-16 Minnesota Chill in 2004 and u-17 Minnesota Lax Loons in 2006-07… also played two years of varsity football for the Mounds View, helping the Mustangs to the state championship playoffs in 2007.

Personal: Oldest of Greg and Ellie Madsen’s three children … is a member of the C.W. Post honors program … majoring in radiologic technology and biomedical science.
