2009: Played in 33 games, starting nine … was 4-for-18 in pinch hitting situations and was 13-for-31 in advancing runners (.419) … batted .174 with eight hits, including four doubles, five RBI and eight runs scored … batted 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored verus Stonehill (March 9) … batted 1-for-1 with an RBI double against Mercy (March 24) … batted 1-for-1 with a two-run double in the opening game of a doubleheader against St. Thomas Aquinas (April 4).
Prior to C.W. Post: Played five years of softball for the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets under coach Russ Sampson … named all-league and First Team All-CNY … batted .509 her senior year … the Hornets qualified for sectionals from 2004-07 … also participated in swimming.
Personal: Older of Mark and Robin Bright’s two daughters … is a downhill ski racer … majoring in physical education.
