2010: Played in all 17 games and made 14 starts … caused nine turnovers and picked up 40 ground balls … scored two goals on the season, including one against Dowling (April 10) and one against Lake Erie (May 9).
2009: Started all 16 games … scored two goals and added two assists … caused five turnovers and picked up 44 ground balls.
2008: Started all 14 games and was second on the team in ground balls (47) … recorded two goals and one assist.
Prior to C.W. Post: Was a three-year varsity player at Sachem East, where he was a team captain…selected to All-Division First Team and Academic All-Division in football and was named the team’s MVP…received Scoop Monster Award and Sopracasa Essay Scholarship.
Personal: Is the middle child of Peter and Sharen Lacagnina’s three sons … younger brother, Peter, is also his teammate on the team … brother, Chris, played football at Worcester Polytech Institute … favorite athlete is Barry Sanders … is a member of the C.W.
