2009: Appeared in 28 matches and 105 sets … led team with 876 sets … finished with 74 kills, 35 serving aces and 217 digs … had a season-high 54 sets vs. Mercy (Oct. 5) … notched a triple-double with 10 kills, 33 sets and 10 digs at Saint Rose (Sept. 19) … also finished third on the team with 40 total blocks.
2008: Appeared in 25 matches and 78 sets … was second on the team with 373 assists … made 38 kills and registered 102 digs … blocked 29 shots.
Prior to C.W. Post: Transferred from SUNY-Cortland and was named to the all-academic team … was a three-year varsity player at Ward Melville and helped lead the Patriots to a state championship title in 2005 with a 34-0 record … set a single-season record for sets in a single season (992) … named to the Newsday All-Long Island Team … named all-county.
Personal: Is the younger of Peter and Irene Ostapow’s four children … sister, Caryn, played lacrosse at Stony Brook between 2001 and 2003 … plans to become a high school physical education teacher and coach volleyball … majoring in physical education.
