2009-2010: Set a 400 Individual Medley pool record on Dec. 12 (3:57.61) … personal best 23.91 in the 50 Free and NCAA “B” cut (Feb.20) … part of the C.W. Post team that achieved NCAA “A” cut and set a new school record in the 200 Free Relay (1:35.05) on Feb. 19… also part of the squad that set a school record (3:53.82) in the 400 Medley Relay (Feb. 19) and 400 Free Relay (3:33.10) on Feb. 21.… “B” cut 100 Free 52.71 (Feb. 21) … All-American Honorable Mention at NCAA Championships (March. 11) … Newcomer Award and Most Improved Swimmer in 2010.
Prior to C.W. Post: Competed in swim at Danderyds Gym in Danderyd, Sweden ... swam the 50 fly in 28.46 seconds and completed the 100 fly with a time of 1.04.72.
Personal: Older of Steffan and Lena Hanes’ two children ... major is undecided.
