2011: Made an immediate impact on the Pioneer defense, starting all 17 games … picked up 29 ground calls and caused 17 turnovers … picked up a season-high five ground calls and caused two turnovers against Queens (April 12) … caused three turnovers, picked up two ground calls and won a draw control at Stonehill (April 16) … caused three turnovers and picked up two ground balls against Mercy (April 26).
Prior to C.W. Post: Played four years of varsity lacrosse for Dan Spallina, helping the team to four county championships … was a three-time all-county selection and received honorable mention All-America honors … was twice named an Academic All-American … also played five years of varsity soccer and ran winter track for two season … was a two-time all-league soccer player for the Eagles …. Participated in the Empire Games and helped Long Island’s team to a goal medal finish.
Personal: Youngest of Greg and Carole Capps’ three children … has an older sister, Amanda, and an older brother, Chris … undecided major.
