2007: Appeared in 12 games, making five starts and posting a 4-1 record with a 4.14 ERA…struck out 25 batters in 45.2 innings…threw seven innings and allowed only two runs on five hits in a win over Nyack (April 6)…in his next start, threw seven innings again and allowed one run one five hits against Mercy (April 21).
Before C.W. Post: Played four years of baseball for Deer Park High School under coach Ted Kochenmeister…helped the team to a league championship, Suffolk County championship, Long Island Championship, and state semi-final appearance his sophomore year…garnered all-league notice his junior and senior season, and was named team MVP his senior year.
