2007: Played in 45 games with 44 starts…batted .309 on the season, with seven doubles, a triple, two home runs, and 22 RBI…stole two bases and posted and on base percentage of .362…notched 70 putouts and three assists…had 19 multi-hit games and a 14 game hitting streak…went 5-for-7 with four RBI and three runs scored in a doubleheader against Mercy (April 21).
2006: Started in all 46 games and had a breakthrough season… maintained a .302 batting average on 54 hits and 25 runs batted in … led the team in stolen bases with 11.
2005: Saw action in 22 games … drove in four runs on four hits.
Before C.W. Post: Played baseball at Kellenberg Memorial in Uniondale, N.Y. and helped the Firebirds to the 2004 championship title … named All-League … also played soccer.
Personal: Son of Steve and Kathleen Sylvester … twin brother, Michael, is also a member of the C.W. Post baseball team … also has a sister, Kristen.
