Men's Basketball Remains Third In This Week's NABC Poll
KANSAS CITY (Jan. 13, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's basketball team's remained ranked third in the latest NABC Division II Poll for the second straight week, and the Pioneers are one of only three remaining undefeated teams in Division II.
The other two other unbeaten teams, Findlay (Ohio) (12-0) and Bellarmine (14-0), are first and second, with Findlay receiving eight first place votes, respectively.
The Pioneers (10-0, 4-0 ECC) defeated Concordia College by a final score of 78-69 on Monday evening behind senior guard Nick Carter's career-high 26 points.
C.W. Post is the highest Northeast team ranked in the poll, joined this week by Stonehill College, who currently leads the NE-10 with a 12-2 record, checking in at number 20.
The Pioneers will travel to Bridgeport on Wednesday, Jan. 15, for a 7 p.m. tilt against the Purple Knights.
