BALTIMORE, Md. (May 29, 2009) - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and US Lacrosse have honored four women's lacrosse players from C.W. Post with a selection to the association's All-American teams.  Seniors Katie Hogan (Farmingdale, N.Y.), Jaclyn Napoli (West Islip, N.Y.), and junior Kim Williams (Long Valley, N.J.) were named to the first team, while junior attacker Staci Passafiume (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) garnered a spot on the second team.

The IWLCA and US Lacrosse will honor the national All-Americans at an awards banquet on June 13, 2009 in King of Prussia, Pa.

Hogan, a three-time IWLCA All-North Region first team selection, was the second-leading goal scorer on the Pioneers with 63 scores and 18 assists.  The senior also led the team with 74 draw controls, 28 caused turnovers and was second with 36 ground balls.

Napoli is also appearing on the All-America team for the third straight season, as she completed her senior season scoring 60+goals for the second straight season as she led the Pioneers and also broke the single-season record with 67 goals.  The senior finished third with 25 assists for a total of 92 points.  She tallied four game-winning goals and was 10-15 in free position attempts.

Williams repeats last year's selection to the All-America team, and put up standout defensive numbers with a team-high 48 ground balls, 21 caused turnovers, and 20 draw controls.  She also scored a goal and dished out three assists.

Passafiume, a junior attacker, is named an All-American for the first time in her career, as her breakout season saw her lead the Pioneers with 46 assists on the season, also tallying 29 scores.  She picked up 33 ground balls, good for third on the team, and totaled 75 points, also third on the team.
