CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Mar. 28, 2016) - The East Coast Conference awarded its first weekly outdoor track and field honors for 2016 on Monday, and LIU Post junior Stefan Adams (Jamaica, N.Y.) was chosen as the men's track athlete of the week by the league office.

Adams sprinted to a pair of first-place finishes Saturday (Mar. 26) at the St. Joseph's College Spring Opener. He clocked winning times of 22.84 and 50.20 in the 200- and 400-meter dash, respectively.

In the indoor season, Adams was named to the All-ECC First Team in the 400-meter dash.

Adams and the Pioneers return to action Saturday (Apr. 2) at the Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by Ramapo College at 9 a.m. in Mahwah, N.J.
