CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (Jul. 5, 2016) - For the first time in the program's brief history, four members of the LIU Post women's golf team have been named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars, the organization announced Tuesday.
Freshmen
Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) and
Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.), along with junior
Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) and senior
Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.), were among the student-athletes selected.
To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative 3.50 grade-point average or higher. In all, a total of 828 collegiate golfers were recognized in the 2015-16 academic year.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches.
