Ithaca, N.Y. – The LIU Post wrestling team competed at the New York State Intercollegiate Championships on Sunday November 19, at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

LIU Post finished 13th out of 23 teams, Division I host Cornell won the competition, while Army Prep and Ithaca College rounded out the top three.

Junior Dan Arkow was LIU Post's top finisher. The Merrick, NY native won five bouts on the day and finished in sixth in the 174-pound bracket. His only loss came in the fifth-place match against Cameron Page.

Also placing for LIU Post were Joe Calderone and Nick Conetta. Calderone finished in seventh at 149 pounds and Conetta came in eighth at 125 pounds.

LIU Post returns to action on Saturday December 2 when it travels to Erie, PA, to compete at the Mercyhurst Duals, hosted by Mercyhurst.
