WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. (Apr. 23, 2017) - Over the weekend, the LIU Post women's golf team closed out the 2016-17 season at the Williams College Spring Invitational at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown.

The Pioneers finished sixth at the two-day tournament, carding a score of 706 (355-351).

Graduate Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) led the green and gold with a 10th-place finish. She recorded a 77 on Day Two, en route to shooting an 18-over 160.

Freshman Shannon Fox (Holbrook, N.Y.) placed 25th with a two-day score of 182 (92-90). Senior Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) followed in 26th, carding a 183 (87-96).

Sophomore Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) shot a 96 and an 88 for a 28th-place score of 184. Fellow sophomore Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) came in 29th with a 48-over 190.
