PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The No. 9 LIU Post field hockey team fell in overtime to Pace University 3-2 Tuesday afternoon at Peter X. Finnerty Field.
 
Sophomore Sammy Bell and freshman Brianna Petruccelli scored goals for the Pioneers while senior Emily Miller had one assist.  Sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Vellis had three saves.
 
At 16:55 Bell scored her tenth goal of the season and put the Pioneers on the scoreboard as she scored the game's opening goal.
 
Petruccelli gave LIU Post a 2-0 lead at 52:55 after receiving an assist from Miller.
 
Pace responded with goals at 67:47 and 70:00 to force overtime; Miller's potential game-winner was saved at 73:30 then 78:23 the game was decided as Pace scored.
