IC4A FINAL RESULTS (MEN)
BOSTON, Mass. – Graduate student
Stefan Adams broke his own school record in the 500-meter dash to lead a group of impressive performances at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Boston University this weekend.
Adams clocked a time of 1:03.19 during the finals, taking fifth place among Division I competitors and setting a program record by .05 second. The fifth-place finish was the best finish by a Pioneer at the meet. Junior
Lance Edwards also scored for LIU Post, taking sixth-place in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:38.35. Adams and Edwards both captured All-East Region accolades for their finishes in the respective events.
Rounding out the men's performances was freshman
Destyn Harding who recorded an 18th-place finish with a time of 7.10 seconds in the 60-meter dash.
Senior
Talya Williams had another great race in the 3,000-meter run, recording a season-best mark of 9:59.67 to finish 18th. Sophomore
Alexandria Okon clocked a time of 1:18.58 in the 500-meter dash, while freshman
Kayra Theodore also competed in the high jump.
