WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The LIU Post women's golf team placed 10th at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invite at Penn Oaks Golf Club.

Abby Snidemiller finished tied for 36th with a two-day total of 181 to lead the Pioneers. Sophomore
Shannon Fox came in just behind Snidemiller at 184, while junior
Natalia Schaefer and freshman
Claire Pohalski rounded out the top four with scores of 192 and 202, respectively.

Clare Alaimo also competed for the Pioneers, compiling two-day rounds of 204 and 239.
Snidemiller carded four pars during the opening round before birdieing the 173-yard, par-three 4th hole during round two to go with four pars in round two. Fox added five pars during her opening round, including pars on the par-five 9th and par-4 18th holes to close out both nines of her round. On day two, she added pars on the same closing holes, while compiling five pars on the day for the second consecutive round.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, April 28 at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
