WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – Senior
Ramger Iglesias captured his first East Coast Conference weekly honor of the season, garnering Player of the Week after a big senior day against St. Thomas Aquinas College the league office announced May 7.
Iglesias finished 7-for-7 at the plate over two games on Saturday, May 5. Along with the big day at the plate, the Bronx native broke a 33-year old program record with his 34th stolen base of the season. Iglesias finished 6-for-7 on stolen base attempts during the doubleheader against the Spartans.
The Pioneers wrap up the regular season this evening when they travel to Palisades Credit Union Stadium for the series finale against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m.
