LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The LIU Post women's golf team closed out its 2018-19 season with a tri-match against Jefferson and East Stroudsburg University at The ACE Club on Friday, April 19.
The Pioneers finished second at the event with a score of 357, just six strokes behind Jefferson (351) for the top spot. With only three golfers, East Stroudsburg did not post a team score at the event.
Senior
Abby Snidemiller posted an even-par 36 closing nine during her final collegiate round. Despite struggling on the front nine, Snidemiller led LIU Post with an 84, finishing four shots behind event medalist, Kinley Lingenfelter (Jefferson). The senior birdied the par-3 12th hole and par-4 15th to offset two bogeys on her inward nine.
Fellow senior Natalia Schaeffer closed out her career with a strong showing, matching her second-lowest round of the year with an 88, while junior
Shannon Fox tallied her third-best round of the season with a 90. Senior
Marissa Bennett rounded out the team scoring with a 95 in her final round.

Claire Pohalski scratched out a round of 99, while sophomore
Clare Alaimo posted a 112 competing as an individual.
